Beth Ankerholz

Beth Ankerholz,
IT Director

Hi, I’m Beth and I have been privileged to serve in many capacities, but my current role is IT director. I have a blast working with the fabulous IT and support teams where we get to research and test the best new toys, uh, I mean tools, to help our staff spend more time serving our clients.

I chose the Bert Nash Center more than 28 years ago, or as I reflect on that day it could be that it chose me. When Sandra Shaw hired me, I was over the moon about her personally and her passion for the work that the Center does. She felt strongly that mental health was fundamental to overall health. The staff also exhibited this overwhelming desire to serve Douglas County residents and do what they could to make sure that every person got the support they needed to live a life worth living. I was welcomed warmly, and within my first week I knew I had found my work home. The staff today continue to build on her legacy, which is one of the reasons I love working here. I also really enjoy supporting our staff with their technology needs. I love working on the development of our electronic health record, and nothing pleases me more than to see staff be successful in using that tool.

When I’m not working, I love walking our land and enjoying nature with my husband, Rich, gardening, and playing my piano.
