Nana Dadson

Nana Dadson, MD,
Medical Director

With almost 20 years of experience practicing in the field of psychiatry, I have come to a better understanding of the unique challenges facing the field, our patients and our providers. Reducing the stigma associated with mental health treatment, increasing access to care, especially for those who are most underserved, and finding ways to encourage the recruitment and retention of psychiatric providers are the three areas of the field that have reached critical levels in the past decade.

As the Center’s medical director, I am charged with overseeing the safe and effective delivery of medication services to the adults and children we serve and to provide the necessary education and consultation to the medical community regarding mental health. I’m proud to work at the Bert Nash Center because of its demonstrated commitment to its community and for its ability to creatively remain a leader and a great partner in the field of mental health, despite all the challenges mental health centers have been facing. Bert Nash continues to provide excellent quality mental health care to members of the community, largely because of its wonderful, dedicated staff.

I like to travel to different countries to experience different cultures … and yes, I watch House Hunters, House Hunters International and Fixer Upper on HGTV!
